Size the environment around operations
We review applications, users, databases and workload patterns to estimate processing, memory, storage and networking. Compatibility with existing software and expected growth are assessed. The design may involve a physical server, virtual machines or external resources. Equipment and licenses are quoted against verified specifications, avoiding capacity decisions based only on a commercial component list without understanding the application requirements.
Controlled configuration and change
Operating systems, roles, permissions and environment separation are defined within scope. Installation includes documentation of relevant settings and functional testing. Where migration is needed, we prepare backups, a change window and validation with responsible users. Virtualization can simplify resource management, but it does not replace continuity planning: availability, recovery and fault tolerance must be explicitly designed and included in the agreed budget.
Administration throughout the service life
We provide an inventory and guidance for updates, capacity and backups. A recurring service can include resource review, incidents and coordination with manufacturer warranty processes. Response commitments depend on the contract and any replacement parts or third parties involved. We also propose renewal or expansion criteria, helping the business anticipate capacity limits before they create an avoidable service interruption.
